Our Process
Before we begin the sealing process, we prep the pavers with a thorough cleaning. This is the most important stage as anything left behind will be sealed into the pavers. We use a sodium hypochlorite solution to kill any organic growth within the joints and on the pavers before pressure washing to remove any other dirt or stains. Additional solutions can be used for tougher oil or rust stains. Once the pavers and joints are completely clean we use a wet sanding process to ensure joints are filled and stabilized. Using the right kind of sand is crucial to preventing the re-growth of organic material, that's why we only use clean, nutrient-free silica sand. The excess sand is then swept and blown away, leaving the joints filled to the proper depth. When the prep stage is complete, we then begin sealing with professional-grade water based urethane sealant with color-enhancer, which will protect your investment for 3-5 years. We use top of the line commercial-grade equipment to ensure the job is done properly.
